Brazilian clubs are robust generators of predictable cash flows — broadcasting rights, naming rights, prize money, multi-year sponsorships and the transfer market. What has historically been missing is long-term capital aligned with that flow.

Nextplay designs debt structures that respect the seasonality and nature of the club’s receivables. We work with Brazilian capital markets instruments (debentures, CRIs, FIDCs) and structured lines with banks and specialized funds, always matching the payment schedule to the asset’s actual cash generation.

We address needs ranging from tactical working capital (up to BRL 50M) to project finance for stadium and training center modernization (BRL 100M – 500M+). In every case, we start with rigorous debt-coverage analysis and design proportional collateral — without compromising the club’s control or operational flexibility.

We acquire controlling or relevant minority stakes in clubs with a clear thesis to unlock value. In every operation, we come in with a detailed 100-day plan: review of the commercial structure, professionalization of key areas, renegotiation of legacy contracts, fund-grade governance implementation and explicit definition of sporting and financial KPIs.

Our philosophy is hands-on, not hands-off. We are not a fund that delegates management and waits for the quarterly report; we sit on the board, lead compensation and investment committees, and follow operations weekly. Sporting success funds commercial success, and vice versa — those who treat these as separate theses destroy value.
